User Preferences provide the ability to customize some of the behavior in the application on a user level, such as setting the default landing page you see when you access the application or customizing the display on the dashboard page.
To access User Preferences, click on your user name in the top right of the screen, then select Preferences.
Each user preference has a name and description of what the user preference does.
