Tasks
Tasks are the day-to-day, month-to-month activities you do for your business that don't involve customers. Whether paying bills, maintaining equipment, or ordering supplies, you can create a Task to track it. Assign a task to a particular person and set a deadline. Create a checklist to complete the task in steps and view it on the schedule.
To access Tasks click the Work menu option. Then choose Tasks.
From the Tasks screen, you can create, edit & delete tasks. Filter your search results to see the tasks assigned to you or to filter out tasks already completed.
You can specify the title and details when creating or editing a task. Assign the task to whoever should complete it and set the date the task needs to be completed by or on. The task will appear on the schedule for the date you provide (see Schedule Overview for more information). ou can also set up a checklist of steps to complete during the task and set the priority and status. Select from the Task Type picklist to help categorize the task (see Picklists for more information).
To complete a task:
- Click the task's name in the Task List to view the task.
- Click any checklist items that have been completed. If the task is complete, change the status and additional notes if necessary.
- Click Save, and the task will be updated.
