Credit Card Setup

To accept credit cards in Trade Service Pro, you must set up a payment provider account with Stripe (https://stripe.com/).

Stripe has a waiting period for your first payout. After that there is no delay on receiving payments.

From the Stripe documentation:

"Your first payout is typically available 7 days after you add your bank account and take your first successful payment on Stripe. This waiting period can be up to 14 days for businesses in certain industries. This delay allows Stripe to mitigate some of the risks inherent in providing credit services."

To access the Stripe payment configuration click on your user name in the top right of the screen. Then select Settings.

Once you are on the Settings page, select the Payment Provider tab. This tab has all the information you need about setting up an account with Stripe.

Clicking on the Setup Stripe Account will redirect you to Stripe's website to setup a Stripe account.

Once you complete the setup process with Stripe you will be redirected back to the Trade Service Pro application and the display will be updated to reflect that your Stripe account is now connected to the application.

You can click on the Enabled and Disabled buttons to turn credit card processing on and off. This does not affect your Stripe account.

To unlink your Stripe account from Trade Service Pro click on the Unlink Stripe Account button. This will not delete your Stripe account. This action cannot be undone and permanently unlinks your Stripe account from Trade Service Pro.
